Accident Free Day Initiative:

On Monday, August 26, 2024 you can clear 4 black points from your driving license as part of a government initiative.

The Ministry of Interior launches the ‘Accident-Free Day’ campaign in conjunction with the start of the school year, and rewards those who comply with a reduction of (4) traffic points.

What are Black Points?

Black Points in UAE are the strict penalties implemented to keep motorists from violating UAE traffic rules. The minimum black points in UAE are 4 and the maximum are 24 after which the driving license get cancelled.

How to Remove Black Points:

To remove 4 black points from your driving license, simply click this link and/or follow the step by step instructions:

1.    Visit MOI Website or scan QR Code

2.    Login with UAE Pass

3.    Pledge the commitments

4.    Click on Yes, I agree

5.    Click on Submit button

What are the Commitments needs to Pledge?

·       I will maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of me

·       I will yield to pedestrians at crossings

·       I will always wear my seatbelt

·       I will adhere to the speed limits

·       I will not use a handheld mobile phone while driving

·       I will give way to emergency vehicles, police, public service vehicles, and official convoys

Important Points:

·       Only 4 black points registered on the driving license will be cleared.

·       The black points will be cancelled on 14/09/2024.

·       Simply sign a traffic safety pledge and actually follow it.
