Step 2: select appointment date and time from given calendar and timetable, the red and golden date slots are booked or not available, choose from the white slots. counters open at 08:00 am till 02:00 pm.

  • Email address

Passport Renewal Requirements:


For Adult applicants, following are the required documents:

1.     Original old passport and copy of it.
2.     Original CNIC, NICOP or smart card with photocopy
3.     Valid UAE Resident Visa with photocopy
4.      If lost passport, original police report attested by ministry of foreign affairs UAE is required.
5.     For newly married applicants the marriage certificate is required.
6.     To avoid long queue (token line) take online appointment print/email/screenshot with you.


For Minors (Less than 18 Years)

1.     Existing passport with photocopy
2.     Original Birth certificate and copy of it attested by MOFA
3.     Original NICOP or B-Form with photocopy
4.     Valid Resident Visa
5.     Parents original passports, visa and CNIC
6.     Police report attested by MOFA UAE in case of lost passport
7.     No objection certificate from parents and consulate/embassy in case parents are non-Pakistani nationals.

Required Documents for Dual Citizens are:

1.     Original CNIC/NICOP and photocopy
2.     Original Pakistani Passport and photocopy
3.     Original Foreign Passport with photocopy
4.     Valid UAE Resident visa with photocopy

Passport Validity and Fee structure:


Currently normal passports are printing with 5 years validity but upon request and paying extra fee, the applicant can get 10 years validity with 36, 72 and 100 pages on passport.

Please note that fee amount can be change at any time, we recommend you to check with www.mofa.gov.pk/dubai for latest fees structures.

Visiting Consulate:
Consul general of Pakistan located in Bur Dubai, once you have arranged all the above mentioned required documents, visit the consulate to begin the renewal process, please take online appointment approval print or mobile screenshot with you to avoid long queue for token.

Collection of Passport:

After successful completion of above process, the applicant will be given 10 days time for normal application and 4 days time for urgent application to collect the passport from same consulate.

To collect your passport from consulate/embassy does the following:

1.     Proceed to passport releasing cabin.
2.     Submit the original receipt to the passport releasing staff.
3.     Submit old passport for cancellation stamp on it.
4.     Get passport, check personal details on new passport such as your name, dob, pob, passport number etc
5.     Sign to acknowledge receiving of your new passport.

Passport Delivery:
You can get your passport through TCS (delivery) by submitting the original receipt and old passport with them at the time when your renewal process completes, delivery charges are 20 to 40 Dirhams across UAE.

Note: TCS office is located in same consulate building.

If you lost the original receipt, don’t worry you can still get your new passport by showing below documents at passport releasing section:

·       Copy of receipt
·       Your valid CNIC or copy
·       Original old passport
·       Original or copy of Valid Emirates ID and Resident visa

In case if you are unable to collect your passport by yourself, your immediate family members such as father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, wife can collect it for you by showing authorization letter, receipt, valid ID, visa or old passport.

How to check CNIC Status:
On consulate official website's homepage, you will found track your documents button, simply click on it and choose NICOP or click here to redirect. Just enter your tracking number and check the status.


Consulate Timing and Holidays:

Consulate working days are Monday to Friday while Saturday and Sunday are weekend holidays.

For walk in applicants the consulate timings are from 08:00 am – 12:00
For online appointment holders, the timings are 07:00 am – 02:00 pm.
Passport delivery timings are from 08:00 am – 01:00 pm.

1.     Click on get started button.
2.     Register for new account and verify code through your email.
3.     Apply for the passport renewal by attaching supporting documents.
4.     Write down your UAE address for the delivery of your new passport.
5.     Pay online through credit/debit card.
6.     Check your personal details, if correct, click on submit button.
7.     Delivery time 4 days urgent, 10 days normal.

1.     Color scanned copy of valid CNIC  (both sides)
2.     Color scanned copy of your current passport (first 2 pages + 1 random page)
